cardboard????

I have started making right foot and cave. I think I will mix techniques of cutting and stacking the cardboard to make his form inconsistent. Or I will throw away my first attempt and stack the cardboard to give him more detail.

african warrior

I am going to make a cardboard sculpture of an African warrior. I will project different sceneries behind. Depending on the image behind him his expression and emotion will change. The sceneries will consist of a cityscape, African landscape, forest, the moon, the sky (he will appear to be free falling), and more. I will eventually put him in some of the sceneries that that I named and take a picture. Then I will throw him out a window and film the crash.

free falling

This week, I took the time to experiment with different kind of figures. I have decided to have a figure free falling through the air for the finished image.
